Hans C. Björnsson

Professor emeritus

Hans Björnsson is a professor of Systems Management at Chalmers and an affiliate professor at the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering at Stanford University (USA). His research involves modeling and simulation of a wide range of technical, social, economical and managerial issues.

He is a former dean of the School of Technology Management and Economics at Chalmers and a professor of Systems Management there. He has been on the faculty of Stanford University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, M.I.T., and the University of Southern California. He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. Hans Björnsson was the director of IMIT during 1984-1988.
