Mats Winroth

Professor emeritus

Mats Winroth’s main research interest is manufacturing strategies and the linkage to design of the production system. He has extensively worked with different aspects of manufacturing strategies, such as inter-organizational collaboration, mass customization, self-organizing systems, and sustainability. Currently, he is involved in Chalmers Production Area of Advance and STRATEGO, a Vinnova supported project aiming at developing easy-to-use tools for small and medium sized manufacturing enterprises, SMMEs. He has a long industrial background from product development and industrial engineering as well as teaching at high school and as head master.
