Tomas Blomquist, PhD, Professor at Umeå School of Business, Umeå University.

Professor Blomquist is the head of the research profile on Projects, Innovations, and Networks at the business school and Director for the Erasmus Mundus, joint Masters in Strategic Project Management with Heriot-Watt University and Politecnico di Milano. He has done research on firms and how they organize, manage and control their projects as well as studies on product development and customer projects. Blomquist had been involved in work to coordinate and actively support project management research activities within IRNOP and Svenska ProjektAkademien.

The work on inter-organizational innovations and have recently become more important for him since the startup of collaborations with both Umeå Institute of Design and CiiR. The later one is a joint program between Luleå University of Technology and Umeå University.
